Tasting Notes
Syrah Tasting notes: Dark, saturated ruby color. The nose offers up dark berry fruit with a spicy cola-mocha kick to it. On the palate flavors of dark red fruits are complimented with coffee, coco, and pepper. This wine has a heft to it that comes on in the mid to back palate and yet finishes with well balanced and vibrant acidity.
Grenache Tasting notes: In the glass, this wine has a dark ruby color. On the nose is a dark, brooding black cherry aroma that is complimented by a rather classic Larner Vineyard characteristic of tar and loamy earth. The slight aroma of toasty French oak lies around the periphery along with black pepper and spice.
